Taking advantage of one
day's fine weather at the start of the year, Linda, Paul, Jason Thomas
& I spent the afternoon
and evening in and around the forest.
Inevitably,
the eyes (and camera!) were drawn to the UFO 'sculpture' in the traditional
landing site clearing. Our feelings were slightly ambivalent: yes, it's
good that the event has been commemorated in a semi-permanent fashion,
but, to be honest, the UFO is a bit naff! It looks better at midnight!
Nothing
startling to report, but we heard a few unusual sounds, photographed
the usual crop of orbs and were dismayed by the amount of felling going
on. Trees were still being cut down at 7.00pm!
